Bali - Git Git Waterfall

.

After the surreal visit to play with the dolphin, next destination was Git Git Waterfall.
But before that, we decide to fill our stomach first. Mr. Bina suggested to have our lunch at nearby restaurant which was named "Git Git Restaurant".

Dining area - My guess was that there must be a buffet line during peak season to have the "stalls" placed around the tables and chairs.

Nasi Goreng Special @ Rp 35,000.

Mee Goreng @ Rp 30,000.

Cili padi to accompany meals! ^_^

The restaurant is about 50-60 meters away from the entrance to GitGit Waterfall.
Entrance fee @ Rp 5,000 per pax.

As we walked, passed by shops selling spices..

Paintings for sale..

Handicrafts for sale..

More spices for sale..

At one point, passed by paddy fields while on the way to the waterfall.

Lotsa steps to walk down...on the way back, gotta climb all the way up agan.. pheeww!

Entrance to the waterfall area.

Small temple nearby the waterfall area.

Took some time to breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the sound of the waterfall.

Calmed the eyes with the greneries and flowing water..

Approximately 60 metres high makes it the highest waterfall in Bali.
Tried standing nearby the waterfall but I got quite a splash although I was around 20 metres away. Held on to an umbrella, and yet, I still got wet! LOL!
Next destination: Ulan Danu Beratan Temple
