Why Do We Hurt The Ones We Love The Most

.

Seriously, there are A LOT of reasons why we hurt the ones we love the most OR the one we love most, hurts us the worst! But I guess, one of the main reason is because they are so close to us, we felt too comfortable to say whatever we want although knowing damn well we will hurt them, and at the same time we know they will later forgive us. Tsk Tsk Tsk...

The song "I HATE MYSELF FOR LOVING YOU!" by Joan Jett is ringing in my head right now.. it's such an AWESOME SONG!!! ^_^

"I hate myself for loving you
Can't break free from the the things that you do
I wanna walk but I run back to you that's why
I hate myself for loving you "

After a while, I feel like dancing to this.. I mean like.. ROCK ON!!! hahahaha! Yeah.. I think it's quite a good de-stress song! :p

Then, I came across a song by Mills Brothers and I find the lyrics are so hmm... well.. kinda true although the melody.. is a bit too slow..

You always hurt the one you love
The one you shouldn't hurt at all
You always take the sweetest rose
And crush it till the petals fall
You always break the kindest heart
With a hasty word you can't recall
So If I broke your heart last night
It's because I love you most of all
Listen to Mills Brother's version )
Listen to Michael Buble's version )

Sometimes, it's not just your partner or spouse hurts you (or vice versa), but it also includes your family members, especially your siblings / parents. Whatever is is, they say BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER..so.. LET THERE BE LOVE!!!

Something to read if you have time to spare : A snippet of a book entitled : Cupidity
GOSH! There's a facebook page / group called : Why Do We Hurt The One We Love.. SERIOUSLY???!!!

Gotta ..Chin Up! Chest Out! (That's what my drilling master used to bark at us during my girl guide days)...

Bumbu Bali, Bandar Puteri

Can't help to splurge on food today since it's the first meet-up ever since my lil' GodBro is back from OZ. He asked if I wanna have dinner at Bumbu Bali, Bandar Puteri. (JAM JAM JAM area.. but for him....OFF I went...)

(Apologies on the lousy photos taken by my phone)

Interior of restaurant are donned with some Bali merchandise for sale

While waiting for Lil bro and his friends to arrive - 5 minutes sitting at the table and looking around at the restaurant, listening to balinese music and staring at their menu, I've started to miss BALI!! YES! I have every intention to travel there again when the opportunity arises!

They have a mixture of Balinese and Western cuisine in their menu. I was looking for Ayam Betutu in their list but it's not available :( One of the famous dish from Bali - Nasi Campur is definitely on the menu list but I decided to go for Kambing Bumbu! (craving for lamb!)

Papaya with Milk
Am not a fan of PAYAPA PAPAYA! =p

Lemongrass, Ginger & Pandan Tea (RM 8)

This is quite refreshing and the sticky nut & sesame "biscuit" is a life saver to curb starvation while you're waiting for the food to be served!

Siap Bumbu - Balinese Roast Chicken with Lemongrass Marinade served with Nasi Kuning,Stir Fried Kangkung, Long Beans Salad & Rempeyek/Crackers  (RM28)

Siap Mepanggang - BBQ Chicken with Spicy Coconut Sauce served with Nasi Kuning,Stir Fried Kangkung, Long Beans Salad & Rempeyek/Crackers  (RM 28)

Kambing Bumbu - Stir Fry Lamb with Chilli, Red & Greed Capsicums, served with Nasi Kuning, Stir Fried Kangkung & Rempeyek/Crackers (RM 29)

I had this and I am satisfied with it's taste, presentation and portion.

Ok...It's time for me to dream I am back at Bali, relaxing at the seashore, feeling blissfull...

Valentine's Day & Single Awareness Day

.

Valentine's Day and Single Awareness Day (S.A.D) is not a public holiday but everyone seems to make big moolahs and hoo-haa out of it, every year on 14th of February.

Which one do I celebrate? BOTH!! LOL! Well it's still a LOVE-ly day not only for couples but for family, siblings and friends! Spread the LOVE!!!

Businesses, big or small, they all rake in lotsa CASH on day like this.. with so many people buying gifts, flowers and the $$ spent on food... It's like a mini Christmas for them!!

Like this shoe.. Pretty!!
How can you not buy (if the $$ is reasonable?) =p

Even advertisements were being manipulated for the day of LOVE =p

Too cheesy?

Lame...LOL!

I don't think this would be a welcoming gift if you're with a "normal" minded partner :p

Oh Well... whatever day it is, stay happy and do what you feel you're more comfortable with. Don't get to stressed with peer-pressure.
Just because someone has a date and you don't, doesn't make you a douche-bag :) So chin up! It's still cool to be single and looking at the brighter side, you don't get the relationship problems that couples have to face.. so enjoy being single while you can =p

 ~   ICE   ~   MAGIC   ~   EXCITEMENT  ~

That's the show tag line and that's what you get! (at least for me) ^_^
Live shows started from 3rd November 2011 and scheduled till 3rd September 2012 at Genting International Showroom, Genting Highlands.

Genting Highlands was at 14 degrees celcius when I was there.

Ticket box office. You can also buy the ticket via phone : +603-2718 1188 and collect your tickets here.

Got MINE!!! ^_^

I was pretty excited to attend this live show and I don't care  like it or not, I've bought the tickets and His Highness will need to sit through this show with me till the end! MUAHAHAHHA! *evil*

As I enter the hall, I was like "Gosh! IT'S COLD!! Then I recalled,"Ohh! It's the stage, prepared with layers of ice for the skaters!" =p

The stage deco exudes mystery and elegance..I LIKE!!!! ^_^
This is the view I got from where I sat.. Pretty good seat huh? ^_^

We're not allowed to snap photos or record any video during the show. So, I can't snap any photos with my camera to post it here.. *sad*

The Funny Penguin EmCee that grace the show!
(he changed costumes a few times in between the show)

I had the hardest laugh when the funny Penguin Emcee invited a guest on stage to share the spotlight with him. It was so funny, I laughed till I had tears on my eyes (nearly rolled on the floor - but it's public space, must behave..hehehe =p). It was all good fun especially when the invited guest was such a sport! (I clapped my hand so hard for him after he was allowed to leave the stage! LOL!)

Took a quick, "stolen" shot of the cast members after the show ended. I think they have some photo session with the media.

I sat at PS 1, Seat# EC 202.
I think I made a pretty good choice as the view of the stage is just right for me, not too near, not too far :)

The show lasted for about one hour and 15 minutes and I came out of the hall with a smile on my face... HAPPY!
