Long winding rivers greeted my first view of Kuching while I was still on board the plane.
My first impression of Kuching International Airport - SPACIOUS! A welcoming change from Penang International Airport which can be a bit claustrophobic..@_@

First agenda : Depart for Abell Hotel which was approximately 20-30 minutes drive away from the airport. Paid RM 26 for a ride on the cab to the hotel.

I was told that it's a new hotel which started their operations about a couple of months back. Abell Hotel boasts on their fully non-smoking hotel environment. Happy Happy for those non-smokers! ^_^

The hotel's in house restaurant - Carvery Restaurant - previously relocated from their Pending outlet, serves Brazilian churrascaria buffet dining concept. Didn't get the chance to try it out though =p Was busy looking for local food around town ..hee hee hee..

Shower area
This is the part which i find it quite a let down.
The space between the shower glass cubicle and the sink area is a bit too near to each other. I can't stand in front of the sink area and look at the mirror but i have to stand next to the sink area - a bit inconvenient as there's no mirror at the room area as well.
Otherwise, my stay at this hotel has been a pleasant one. I don't mind going back there again for future trips :)
